ST. PAUL, Minn. --Â Macalester won two of three doubles matches but was unable to hold the lead as Hamline won four of six singles matches to claim a 5-4 win at home in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match at the Holt Court.
Katelyn Glenna led the Scots at the top of their lineup, teaming with
Riley Menagh for an 8-5 win at one doubles before cruising to a 6-0, 6-0 win at one singles.
Lily Stein also won twice, pairing with
Gabby Queenan for an 8-1 win at two doubles before claiming a 6-2, 6-3 victory at three singles.
Macalester will play its final two home matches of the season later this week as the Scots host St. Thomas, Friday, at 4 p.m. before wrapping up the home portion of their schedule, Sunday, with a 10:30 a.m. match versus Concordia. Both matches are scheduled to be played at Macalester's Hayden Courts.
