LAKEVILLE, Minn. --Â The top of the Macalester lineup was dominant and a sweep of doubles play catapulted the Scots to a 6-3 win over Concordia to end a seven-match losing streak.
The match was moved indoors due to late-day storms in the weather forecast and the Scots responded to being able to get back to action after Friday's 9-0 home loss to St. Thomas.
Katelyn Glenna cruised through her matches as she teamed with
Riley Menagh for an 8-1 win at one doubles before posting a 6-0, 6-0 win at one singles.
Gabby Queenan and
Lily Stein were 8-2 winners at two doubles before moving onto singles victories. Queenan was a 6-0, 6-2 winner at two singles while Stein won 6-3, 6-0 at three singles.
Emily Fule earned a 6-0, 6-2 win at six singles.
The Scots' final two matches are slated to be on the road. They are scheduled to be at Bethel, Tuesday, for a 4:30 p.m. match before taking 11 days off prior to their season finale, April 25, at Carleton.
