MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- St. Catherine ended Macalester's three-match winning streak as the Wildcats posted a 9-0 win at the Baseline Tennis Center.

The only match of the day to go three sets came at number four singles, where the Scots' Lily Stein won the opening set, 6-4, However, Angie Lorenzen came back with a 7-5 win the second set before the pair dueled through 22 games in the third set before Lorenzen came away with a 12-10 win.

The Wildcats would not lose more than two games in any of the other five singles matches and won all three doubles matches by 8-2 scores.

Next up for Macalester is a non-conference meeting, Saturday, with Minnesota-Morris at the Leonard Center beginning at 1 p.m.
