Macalester won for the fourth time in five matches, including second time in a row in conference play, beating Hamline 6-3 at Hayden Courts on the Mac campus.  The Scots took all three doubles matches and split their six singles events, and improve to 5-8 overall and 2-3 in the MIAC.
 
The Scots got the match off to a good start with winning doubles play.  Katelyn Glenna (Jr., Winona, Minn.) and Carmen Whitehead (Sr., Greeley, C olo. / West) won at first doubles, Gabby Queenan (Jr., Bedford, Mass.) and Riley Menagh won at No. 2, and Gabriella Rivera (Fy., Evanston, Ill. / Evanston Township) and Sarah Couser (Sr., Middleton, Wis.) won at No. 3 doubles.
 
Singles winners for the Scots were Glenna at No. 1; Whitehead at No. 2; and Alexandra McLaughlin (So., Rosemount, Minn.).
 
The Scots host St. Benedict Saturday (April 12) at 11:30 a.m. at Hayden Courts.
