Macalester stormed to its third win in four matches, shutting out Concordia-Moorhead 9-0 Saturday at Courts Plus Tennis Center in Fargo, N.D.    The Scots improve to 4-8 overall and 1-3 in the MIAC.

The Scots started the match off with three quick doubles wins, getting decisions from Katelyn Glenna (Jr., Winona, Minn.) at Carmen Whitehead (Sr., Greeley, Colo. / West) at No. 1; Gabby Queenan (Jr., Bedford, Mass.)

and Riley Menagh (Fr., Grand Island, Neb.) at No. 2; and Gabrielle Rivera (Fy., Evanston, Ill. / Evanston Township) and Sarah Crouser (Sr., Middleton, Wis.) at No. 3.

Mac picked up singles wins from Glenna at No. 1; Whitehead at No. 2; Queenan at No. 3; Menagh at No. 4; Rachel Seidner   (So., San Antonio, Tex. / International School of the Americas)  at No. 5; and Rivera at No. 6.

The Scots return to action next Tuesday (April 8) when they host Hamline at Hayden Courts.
