Macalester hosted Cardinal Stritch (Wis.) at the Leonard Center and was toppled by a 9-0 tally in the team's second match of the spring season.  This was the team's final non-conference match before startng MIAC play next Saturday (Feb. 15) against St. Catherine.

All Cardinal Stritch wins in singles play came in straight sets.  The closest Mac defeat came at No. 4 where Rachel Seidner fall 6-1, 6-3.

After playing St. Kate's next Saturday at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center, the Scots return to the Baseline Club the following day to take on St. Thomas.
