Macalester vs. Northwestern box score

Macalester and Northwestern-Roseville split their six singles matches, but the Eagles took two of the three doubles matches to topple the Scots 5-4 at the Leonard Center.

The Scots came out on top at second, third and fifth singles.  Katelyn Glenna (So., Winona, Minn.) won 7-5, 6-2 at No. 2; Carmen Whitehead (Jr., Greeley, Colo. / West) won 6-2, 6-1 in her first match this season for the Scots; and at No. 5, Alisha Roopchand (So.,Woodbridge, Conn. / Amity Regional) won 6-4, 6-2.

Paige Schaefer (Sr., Madison, Wis. / East) and Gabby Queenan (So., Bedford, Mass.) claimed a hard-fought 9-8 triumph at No. 2 doubles.

The Scots return to MIAC play Sunday (March 3) when they play St. Thomas at the Lakeville Lifetime Fitness Club at 10:30 a.m.
