Macalester vs. Hamline box score

Macalester picked up its second straight MIAC win, topping Hamline 7-2 at Lifetime Fitness Club in Lakeville.  The Scots rolled to three quick victories in doubles play and won four of the six singles matches, and are now 9-10 overall and 2-7 in the conference.

Katelyn Glenna (Fy., Winona, Minn.) and Carmen Whitehead (So., Greeley, Colo. / West) won at No. 1 doubles 8-2; Paige Schaefer (Jr., Madison, Wis. / East) and Alicia Roopchand (Fy., Woodbridge, Conn. / Amity Regional) won 8-1 at No. 2; and the team of Lucy Miner (Sr., Seattle, Wash. / Ballard) and Gabby Queenan (Fy., Bedford, Mass.) played to an 8-3 win at No. 3.

Singles winners for the Scots were Schaefer at No. 2, Roopchand at No. 3, Whitehead at No. 4 and Queenan at No. 5.  Whitehead and Queenan each cruised to 6-0, 6-0 decisions.

The Scots wraps up tomorrow when the Scots travel to Winona to take on St. Mary's.
