Jody Gabriel a win in her first Macalester game Sunday at the Rochester Dome as Mac toppled Wisconsin-Stout 8-4 in the opener of a doubleheader to start the 2012 campaign. UW-Stout, however, came back to take the nightcap 14-1.

Knopf pitched the first four frames to collect the win and
Brittany Ehmann (Fy., Island Lake, Ill. / Wauconda) threw the final three innings to pick up the save.
