Complete Macalester vs. St. Mary's results

Macalester hosted St. Mary's for its first home meet of the season and toppled the Cardinals 89-54 for an MIAC dual meet victory.  The Scots picked up nine first-place finishes in 13 events on the night.

Wojciech Michno (So., Domsjo, Sweden / UWC (Red Cross Nordic)) placed first in a pair of freestyle sprints to lead the way for the Scots.  Michno won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.65 and 100 free in 53.13.

Other Mac first-place finishers were: Ted Metz (Sr., Teaneck, N.J.) in the 1000-yard freestyle (11:39.68), Walter Benson (Fy., Amherst, Mass. / Amherst Regional) in the 200 individual medley (2:13.70), Domi Lauko (Jr., Whitefish Bay, Wis.) in the 100 butterfly (1:00.72), Jackson Gilkey (Sr., Millis, Mass. / Xaverian Brothers) in the 500 free (5:26.52) and Nathan Schachtman (Jr., St. Louis, Mo. / Ladue) in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.99).

Macalester also won the 400-yard medley relay (4:08.00 and 200 freestyle relay (1:37.57).

The Scots host the Roger Ahlman Invitational tomorrow at Riley Pool, with diving competition set to begin at 9 a.m. and swimming events slated to start at 1 p.m. Live webcast
