What I hope to do after graduation:
I hope to go to graduate school and get a PhD in microbiology.
How Macalester prepared me:
The rigorous academics at Macalester have prepared me well for graduate school and the variety of classes offered here has introduced me to many fields in biology, giving me the ability to approach questions from multiple angles. Macalester has also prepared me for grad school by giving me the opportunity to participate in several summer research experiences, which were key in deciding my future academic career.
