Complete Macalester / St. Olaf Time Trial meet results

Macalester began its second season under head coach Betsy Emerson by racing St. Olaf Thursday afternoon in a 4-kilometer race on the St. Catherine University campus.

Newcomer Emily Bachhuber (Fy., Milwaukee, Wis. / Shorewood) led the way for the Scots, placing 13th in this field of 78 entrants. She completed the course in 16:29.8. Anna Schmitz (So., St. Paul, Minn. / Central) was the team's No. 2 runner, placing 15th (16:33.7) and Anna French (Jr., Omaha, Neb. / Central) was 16th (16:37.2).

Becky Kane (So., Miladore, Wis. / Auburndale) placed 23rd (17:04.2) and the team's No. 5 runner was Lucy Andrews (So., Plymouth, Minn. / Wayzata), who finished 25th (17:09.3).

The sixth and seventh runners were Tess Carley (Jr., Cumberland, Me. / Greely) (27th – 17:24.4) and Jana Wiegand (Sr., Madison, Wis. / Memorial) (28th – 17:24.9).

The Scots return to competition next Friday (Sept. 9) at the St. John's Invitational in Collegeville.
