Macalester vs. Hamline box score

Hamline handed the Scots a 6-3 MIAC defeat Saturday morning at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center. Macalester, now 2-2 overall and 0-2 in conference play, picked up victories at second and sixth singles, and at third doubles.

Abby Citrin (Sr., Rye Brook, N.Y. / Blind Brook) boosted her early-season record to 3-1 at No. 2 singles with a 6-2, 6-2 decision, and Maddie Vargo (So., California, Pa.) won 6-0, 6-4 at No. 6 singles.

Macalester's No. 3 doubles tandem of Louise Dickson (Sr., North Oaks, Minn. / Mounds View) and Carmen Whitehead (Fy., Greeley, Colo. / West) won 8-4.

The Scots head to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, to play five matches March 13-15. They will take on Greenville (Ill.), Texas Lutheran, Manhattanville (N.Y.), Spring Arbor (Mich.) and Sheperd (W.Va.)
