Macalester vs. Concordia box score

Macalester edged Concordia 5-4 to wrap up its season Saturday in Fargo, N.D. Stephanie Lee (Sr., Camarillo, Calif. / Oaks Christian) and Amanda Wenzel (Sr., Green Bay, Wis. / Southwest) won at first and second singles, respectively, and teamed up to win at No. 1 doubles to lead the way for the Scots and finish their standout Mac careers in style.

The Scots finish at 11-8 overall for their third straight winning campaign and close out with a 3-7 MIAC slate.

Mac won two of the three doubles matches.  Lee and Wenzel won 8-5 at first doubles, while Lucy Miner (So., Seattle, Wash. / Ballard) and Maddie Vargo (Fy., California, Pa.) won 8-2 at third doubles.

Lee finished out her career with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles and Wenzel finished up with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 2.  Lee was 11-8 this season and Wenzel finished at 12-5.  Abby Citrin (Jr., Rye Brook, N.Y. / Blind Brook) ends the season with a team-best 15-4 record after winning 6-0, 7-5 at fourth singles.
