Macalester vs. St. Olaf box score

Macalester traveled to Owatonna Saturday to take on St. Olaf, the third-place team in the MIAC standings, and returned with an 8-1 defeat to the Oles.

Amanda Wenzel (Sr., Green Bay, Wis. / Southwest) came through with a pair of tiebreaker wins at No. 2 singles, winning a 7-6, 7-6 battle to provide Macalester's with its victory and keeping St. Olaf from the shutout. Wenzel is now 10-5 on the spring campaign at second singles.

The Scots (10-8 overall and 2-7 in the MIAC) have one match remaining on the season, next Saturday (May 1) at Concordia-Moorhead.
