Macalester vs. Hamline box score

Macalester fought off visiting Hamline for a 5-4 triumph Tuesday night at Hayden Tennis Courts. The Scots took one doubles match and won four of the six singles matches.

Stephanie Lee (Sr., Camarillo, Calif. / Oaks Christian) and Amanda Wenzel (Sr., Green Bay, Wis. / Southwest) got the evening off to a good start, taking an 8-4 match at No. 1 doubles.

Lee won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and Wenzel was victorious 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2. Also gaining wins for Macalester were Abby Citrin (Jr., Rye Brook, N.Y. / Blind Brook) at No. 4 singles (6-1, 6-2) and Lucy Miner (So., Seattle, Wash. / Ballard) at No. 5.

The Scots, now 10-7 overall and 2-6 in the MIAC, play Saturday (April 24) at St. Olaf and close out the season April 1 at Concordia-Moorhead.
