Macalester vs. St. Mary's box score

St. Mary's won all three doubles matches to begin the day, and went on to gain a 6-3 win over the Scots at the Winona Tennis Center to spoil Macalester's MIAC opener. The Scots are now 1-2 on the season and 0-2 in MIAC play.

Macalester's claimed its wins at second, third and fourth singles. Amanda Wenzel (Sr., Green Bay, Wis. / Southwest) won a 6-1, 2-6, 10-8 match at No. 2, Paige Schaefer (Fy., Madison, Wis. / East) won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2, and Abby Citrin (Jr., Rye Brook, N.Y. / Blind Brook) picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 4.

The Scots play Saturday (March 6) at Gustavus Adolphus.
