Johns Hopkins rolls past Macalester

Johns Hopkins crossed the plate nine times in the third inning and went on to gain an 18-3 win over Macalester in Phoenix. The Blue Jays pounded out three home runs and finished with 18 hits on the day.

Robert Williams (Fy., West Covina, Calif. / Northview) went 2-for-2 with a double and Nate Wilson-Traisman (Jr., Eugene, Ore. / South Eugene) drove in a pair of runs on a third-inning triple.

JHU, which moves to 4-2, received three hits from four different players.  Johns Hopkins is ranked No. 5 nationally by D3baseball.com.

The Scots, now 5-3 on the season, return to action tomorrow morning against Western New England College (Mass.).
