Macalester vs. Luther box score

Macalester hosted Luther (Ia.) - the Central Region's 10th-ranked team - at Lakeville's Lifetime Fitness Club and played well in a 7-2 defeat to the Norse.  The Scots drop to 10-4 on the year, while the Norse, who also play a fall schedule, improve to 24-6.

Macalester's wins came at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles.  The No.-15 ranked Central Region doubles team of Stephanie Lee (So., Camarillo, Calif. / Oaks Christian) and Angie Horner (So., Bismarck, N.D. / Century) boosted their record to 12-2 on the spring with an 8-6 victory.

Horner accounted for Mac's win in singles play when she took a 6-4, 6-1 match.  Horner is now 13-1.

The Scots leave early tomorrow morning for an MIAC match at Concordia-Moorhead.
