Macalester vs. Gustavus box score

Macalester traveled to St. Peter with a 4-0 record, but was no match for No. 11-ranked Gustavus in a 9-0 defeat to the Gusties. Gustavus, the 16-time defending MIAC champions, moves to 8-2 on the season and 4-0 in the conference. Its only defeats this season were to the University of Minnesota and BYU-Hawaii. The Scots are handed their first setback and are now 4-1 overall and 3-1 in the MIAC.

The Scots are off until heading to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, for five matches over Spring Break March 16-21. They will go up against Westminster (Pa.), Allegheny (Pa.), Grove City (Pa.), St. Michael's (Vt.) and Centre (Ky.).
