ST. PAUL, Minn. – Macalester College senior
Bailey Lengfelder (Renton, Wash./Hazen) was named to the NCAA Division III All-Region Team for Region 3/Central Region by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), the organization announced today. This is Lengfelder's third straight year on the All-Region team.
Lengfelder is the only Scot to make the All-MIAC team all four of her years at Macalester, and just the 27th women's golfer to accomplish the feat in recorded MIAC history. At the MIAC Championships, she posted scores of 71, 74 and 73 to take second at 218 (+2), breaking her own school record of 227 set at the 2022 MIAC Championships. That year Lengfelder tied for third, the first of four top six finishes and her best showing until this fall. She also won the CSB Invite and the DIII Classic last fall, and placed fourth at the Carleton/St. Kate's Final Fling this spring. Lengfelder registered a career-best stroke average of 75.0 in her final season at Macalester.
Also an excellent student, Lengfelder earned Academic All-District and WGCA All-American Scholar honors three times.
