WAVERLY, Iowa – The Macalester College women's golf team moved up five positions on the last day to finish fourth at the Wartburg Fall Invitational, held this weekend at Prairie Links Golf Club. The Scots shot a second-round score of +22 310 after a +33 321 on Saturday.
Senior
Bailey Lengfelder (Renton, Wash./Hazen) led the Scots with a score of +4 148 to tie for seventh overall. Her Sunday score of 73 was the fifth-lowest score of the day. Sophomore
Ava Austria (Portland, Ore./Catlin Gabel) was next, tying for 18th with a two-round score of 157. First year
Yangyang Gu (Nantong, Jiansu, China/Shanghai Experimental School) tied for 36 at 162, and sophomore
Mia Cluff (Seattle, Wash./Roosevelt) tied for 51st at 164.
Next up for Macalester is the D3 Classic, hosted by Gustavus at Emerald Greens in Hastings, Minn.
