SARTELL, Minn. – The Macalester College women's golf team participated in the CSB Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course. The Scots finished in fourth place as a team out of 13 teams with a score of 640.

Junior Emily Bruce (Orleans, Ontario/Ashbury College) shot a career-best 74 on Sunday and finished fifth individually with a two-round score of 153. Junior Bailey Lengfelder (Renton, Wash./Hazen) tied for 11th place with a score of 158, while junior Scarlett Liu (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Preparatory) took 17th with a score of 160. First year Ava Austria (Portland, Ore./Catlin Gabel) shot a 169 to tie for 24th, junior Sydney Ohr (Prospect Heights, Ill./John Hersey) placed 27th with a 170, and first year Mia Cluff (Seattle, Wash./Roosevelt) carded a 171 to tie for 28th.

Macalester continues the fall season next weekend, Sept. 7-8, at the Central Region Fall Preview at Legacy Golf in Faribault, Minn.
