WAVERLY, Iowa – The Macalester women's track and field team competed at the Wartburg Outdoor Select today, in Waverly, Iowa.

Diarra Chatham (Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge) took fifth in the 100m with a time of 12.54. This ties for the seventh best time in Macalester history. First year
Elise Edison (Chelmsford, Mass./Gould Academy) ran a personal best of 1:00.90 in the 400m to take third. Fellow first year
Ivy Coldren (Frederick, Md./Urbana) finished 16
th in the 1500 with a time of 4:51.50. In the shot put,
Tessa Myatt (Chicago, Ill./Northside College Prep) took sixth with a mark of 11.60m (38' 0.75"). This is the sixth best mark in Macalester history. In the javelin, first year
Brooke Boroughs (Monroe, Wash./Monroe) took second with a mark of 36.00m (118' 1"). This is the sixth best mark in Macalester history.
Macalester's next meet will be Saturday April 13. The Scots will compete at the Minnesota State Open.
