PRIOR LAKE, Minn. – The Macalester College women's golf team began the 2023 fall season with a victory over Crown College, 337-389 in a dual Friday morning at The Wilds Golf Club. Sophomore
Bailey Lengfelder (Renton, Wash./Hazen) shot a 1-over-par 73 to capture medalist honors by 13 strokes.

Emily Bruce (Orleans, Ontario/Ashbury College) tied for second place with a score of 86. Sophomore
Scarlett Liu (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Preparatory) was fourth with an 88, while junior
Lauren Petro (Canton, Ohio/GlenOak) and sophomore
Sydney Ohr (Prospect Heights, Ill./John Hersey) tied for fifth with identical scores of 90.
Macalester plays this weekend at the Saint Benedict Invitational on Sept. 2-23 at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course in Sartell, Minn.
