Named a WGCA All-American Scholar… Received Academic All-District and Academic All-MIAC honors… Played 12 rounds in six events, averaging 80.0… Placed fifth out of 39 golfers with a two-round score of 149 at the Central Region Preview on Sept. 7 and 8… Tied for fifth out of 75 golfers with a two-round score of 151 at the Gustie D3 Classic on Sept. 21 and 22… Tied for fifth out of 74 golfers with a two-round score of 153 at the College of Saint Benedict Invite on Sept. 1.
2023-24
Named MIAC Women’s Golfer of the Week for the week ending in April 21… Played 16 rounds in 10 events, averaging 83.7... Won the BU Rumble at the Ridge with a score of 74 on April 20… Tied for second with a score of 86 at the Macalester-Crown Dual on Sept. 1... Earned Academic All-District and Academic All-MIAC honors.
2022-23
Played 14 rounds in eight events, averaging 88.4… Finished 35th with a two-round score of 177 at UW-Eau Claire Georgianni-Blugold Invite on Sept 10-11… Tied four 34th with a two-round score of 160 at the Division III Classic on Sept 17-18.
Before Mac
Received the Mid-State Ohio Golf League Outstanding Academic and Athletic Achievement Award… Received 2019 Mid-State League of Ohio Girls Golf First-Team honors, ranking fourth of 60 athletes… Named Central Ohio District Girls Golf All-District Second-Team in 2018 and 2019… Awarded the Environmental Leadership award… Received the Environmental Science Award… Received the Citizenship Award in 2020 for collective advocacy of environmental and social justice at Columbus School for Girls and within her community.
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester due to its interdisciplinary approach to academics, the close-knit teams and classes, and the overall welcoming and accepting community that Macalester embodies.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you?
My experience at Macalester has been so incredibly enjoyable - I truly feel as if every professor, coach, trainer, and student here wants the best for each other. I feel supported by my peers and I know that I am at the best place for me to succeed academically and athletically.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student-athlete has helped shape me into a well-rounded individual, where I have been able to explore my identity within and outside of athletics. I have found that I have been able to not only develop as an athlete, but as a student, activist, musician, and individual because of the interdisciplinary approach to education that Macalester provides.
