Logan Pampel (Johnson Creek, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran), junior punter
Theo Crosby (Edina, Minn./The Blake School), junior linebacker
Jacob Hellenbrand (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie), junior defensive back
Cameron Latvis (West St. Paul, Minn./Two Rivers), junior defensive back
Justin Potts (Bloomington, Ill./Normal Community) and sophomore offensive lineman
Max Clifford (Arvada, Colo./Pomona) earned Academic All-District honors, which recognizes student-athletes for excellence in academics and athletics.
Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically; have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50; and have played in 90 percent of their team's games or have started at least 66 percent of their team's games to be considered for Academic All-District and All-American accolades.
Bice led the Scots with 885 receiving yards on 49 receptions and ranked second in the MIAC with 18.1 yards per catch. He is majoring in biology.
Brazgel was a key player on special teams and also had an interception against St. Scholastica and forced a fumble at Concordia. Brazgel is an applied mathematics & statistics major at Macalester.
Pampel received All-MIAC honorable mention this season after leading the Scots in rushing for the third consecutive season with 414 yards. He also caught 50 passes for 477 yards and scored 11 touchdowns. Pampel is majoring in economics.
A psychology major, Crosby served as the team's punter this season and averaged 35.5 yards per punt to rank seventh in the MIAC. He also put eight punts inside the 20-yard line, with a long of 65 yards.
Hellenbrand played in nine games at linebacker and notched 15 tackles and a pass breakup. He is majoring in computer science.
This is the second year on the Academic All-District team for Latvis, who made the All-MIAC team after recording 53 tackles this season. Latvis, who received All-MIAC honorable mention in 2022, is majoring in biology.
Potts also made the Academic All-District team last year as a physics major. This year he led the Scots with three interceptions while registering nine pass breakups, 26 tackles and a blocked kick.
Clifford is the lone sophomore for Macalester on the Academic All-District team. A data science and Spanish double-major, he played in all 10 games along the offensive line this season.
