STILLWATER, Minn. – The Macalester College women's golf team competed at the St. Kate's Fall Invite, held Saturday and Sunday at Oak Glen Golf Course and Eagle Valley Golf Course. Junior Phebe Chen (South Barrington, Ill./Barrington) placed 10th individually, as the Scots took 12th as a team.

Chen carded scores of 78 and 76 to place 10th with a 10-over-par 154. First year Bailey Lengfelder (Renton, Wash./Hazen) turned in a two-round score of 162 to take 28th place, with fellow first year Sydney Ohr (Prospect Heights, Ill./John Hersey) tying for 49th. First year Emily Bruce (Orleans, Ontario/Ashbury College) and sophomore Lauren Petro (Conton, Ohio/GlenOak) finished in 62nd and 68th, respectively.

Macalester heads to the MIAC Championships at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids, Minn. on Saturday, Oct. 1. The three-round tournament is the final event for the Scots for the fall season.
