MONTICELLO, Minn. – The Macalester College men's golf team participated in the Saint John's Spring Invitational, held Sunday at Monticello Country Club. The Scots finished 15th out of 16 teams in the team standings.
First year
Ryan Vaver (Lafayette, Colo./Centaurus) led Macalester by tying for 53rd. Junior
Fritz Gessl (Chester Springs, Pa./Westtown) was a stroke behind Vaver in 62nd, followed by junior
Tommy Hayes (Chicago, Ill./Whitney M. Young Magnet) in 74th, and junior
Jason Shi (Wesley Chapel, Fla./Saddlebrook Prep) and first year
Sean Sebrey (Union, Maine/Medomak Valley) in 78th.
Macalester is scheduled to compete at the Carleton-St. Olaf Triangular April 30-May 1.
