Box Score St. Paul, Minn.- The Macalester College baseball team resumed game two of the double-header that took place Tuesday, April 6 against the University of St. Thomas. Before weather ultimately postponed the game, the Scots trailed the Tommies 5-2 after four innings. Macalester is now 2-3 (2-3 MIAC) after today's loss while St. Thomas improves to 10-3 (4-0 MIAC).

St. Thomas scored one run in the fifth inning to extend the lead to 6-2. Macalester then put a run on the board in the seventh inning. JuniorÂ
Anthony Palma (Moorseville, N.C./Lake Norman) reached on an error and stole second base. Palma then advanced to third on a fly ball to right field. SophomoreÂ
Joe Margolis (Chicago, Ill./Jones College Prep) then stepped up to the plate and singled to center field to bring in Palma.

St. Thomas responded with seven unanswered runs in the eighth inning to ultimately win 13-3. Margolis and sophomore
Kenny Rodriguez (Bronx, N.Y./George School) both finished the day going 2-for-4 at the plate.

Macalester will be at home April 10 to take on Bethel University in a nine-inning game starting at 3:30 pm.
