ST. PAUL, Minn.- The Macalester College men's swimming and diving team held their final home meet of the season. The Scots hosted Grinnell College and honored senior swimmer
Jayden West (Appleton, Wis./Appleton North).
Sophomore
Tanner Hubbard (Farmington, Minn./Farmington) touched the wall first in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:38.21. Hubbard also took home first place in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:07.20. Sophomore
Benjamin Blomquist (Las Vegas, Nev./ED W. Clark) took fourth in the 200 yard freestyle with a final time of 1:54.48. Blomquist also placed third in the 200 yard backstroke with a solid time of 2:12.18. West sprinted to a third place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke.
Sophomore
Aiden Williams (Chicago, Ill./Walter Payton College Prep) rounded out the top three of the 100 yard freestyle with a final time of 56.51. First year
Benjamin Levy (Beloit, Wis./Beloit Memorial) touched the wall in 2:25.54 in the 200 yard breaststroke which earned him a third place finish. Blomquist and Levy took first and second in the 200 yard IM with respective times of 2:09.02 and 2:12.36.

Daniel Chechelnitsky (Shoreview, Minn./Irondale), Hubbard, and West earned 11 team points with a first place finish in the 400 yard freestyle relay.

The men's swimming and diving team will be off until February 12 as they prepare for the MIAC conference championships. That four day event will take place in the University of Minnesota aquatic center.
