INDUSTRY HILLS, Calif. – The Macalester College women's golf team wrapped up its spring trip to California with a dual against Occidental College, losing 359-371 Saturday at Pacific Palms Resort. First year Tenley Smith (Williamstown, Mass./Mount Greylock Regional) earned medalist honors with a one-round score of 85.

Sophomore Izzy Hebert (Westminster, Colo./Legacy) and first year Emma Iverson (Northfield, Minn./Northfield) both shot 94 to tie for sixth, followed by first year Kiwa Anisman (Yountville, Calif./Vintage) and senior Ji Sue Song (Surrey, B.C./Southridge School).

Macalester returns to action on Apr. 13-14 at the Battle at the Creek, hosted by Bethel University at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minn.
