ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College women's golf team competes in the MIAC Championships this weekend at Braemar Golf Course in Edina, Minn. The three-round tournament runs from Friday to Sunday.

Last year, Macalester posted its highest finish at the MIAC Championships, taking second behind Carleton. Zhang was named the MIAC Women's Golfer of the Week on Monday after winning the September Showdown with a pair 71s. the score is tied for the fifth-lowest score in recorded MIAC women's golf history. Zhang also won the CSB Fall Invite to open the season.
