ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College volleyball team lost a conference match to St. Catherine on the road in three sets Saturday afternoon. The Scots fall to 9-12 overall and 0-6 in league play, while the Wildcats improve to 8-8, 1-5 MIAC.
St. Catherine controlled the match throughout, winning 25-12, 25-16, 25-8. Senior outside hitter

Hannah Detlaff (Eau Claire, Wis./Eau Claire Memorial) notched 15 and 12 digs, respectively. Emma Nelson paced the Wildcats with 12 kills.
Macalester continues MIAC action with a home match against Saint Mary's University on Wednesday, Oct. 10. The match starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Leonard Center.
