RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Macalester College men's golf team concluded its spring trip to California with a dual match with Occidental College, losing 215-233 at Oak Quarry Golf Club. The Scots have spent the past few days in California playing practice rounds in preparation for the Spring season.

Senior Drew Gumlia (Tustin, Calif./Foothill) shot a 71 to tie for the overall lowest score. Senior Josh Wingardner (Boxford, Mass./St. John's Preparatory) recorded a round of 80, while first year Alex Young-Williams (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) carded an 82.

Macalester will play in a tri-match with Carleton and St. Olaf on Apr. 15 in Northfield, Minn.
