HARTFORD, Wis. – The Macalester College men's golf team tied for 10th at the Wisconsin Lutheran Fall Invitational, held at Washington County Golf Course on Sunday. The Scots played two rounds on Sunday and carded scores of 295 317 - 612.
The low scorer for Macalester was first year
Jai Ju (Taipei, Taiwan/Nangang Vocational), who tied for 22nd with a score of 150 (+6). He was followed by sophomore
Owen Walther (St. Louis, Mo./John Burroughs School), who tied for 31st (152) and junior
Liam Sarmiento (Sioux Falls, S.D./O'Gorman), who tied for 39th (155). Sophomore
Leo Simon (Scarsdale, N.Y./Brunswick) tied for 61st to close out the top four for the Scots.
Next up for Macalester is the Twin Ports Collegiate, hosted by UW-Superior Sept. 18-19 at Nemajdi Golf Course in Superior, Wis.
