ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College men's swimming and diving team hosted Grinnell College in the final home meet of the season Saturday afternoon at Riley Pool. The Scots, who lost to the Pioneers, 185-98, turn their attention to the MIAC Championships.
Sophomore
Paul Reischmann (St. Petersburg, Fla./Shorecrest Prep) led Macalester with a victory in the 1,650-yard freestyle, winning in 17:01.63. First year
Jayden West (Appleton, Wis./Appleton North) placed first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.71. Other solid performances were turned in by first year
Raza Khalid (Karachi, Pakistan/Karachi Grammar), who was third in the 50-yard freestyle, and sophomore
Jackson Tak (Laouina, Tunisia/American Cooperative School of Tunis), who was fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke.

Ian Lock (Fond Du Lac, Wis./Fond Du Lac), junior
Sam Gleason (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) and sophomore
Taylor Durbin (Bethesda, Md./Bethesda Chevy Chase) took first in 1:35.98.
Sophomore
Jake Roux (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown) had strong showings in the diving events, winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter events.
Before the meet, Macalester honored Lock, the lone senior on the men's team, prior to his final home competition.
The MIAC Championships will be held Feb. 16-18 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
