NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Macalester College men's swimming and diving team participated in a dual meet at St. Olaf Saturday afternoon at Skoglund Natatorium. The Scots lost in the team scoring, 189.5-56.5.

First year Taylor Durbin (Bethesda, Md./Bethesda Chevy Chase) tied for first in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 59.71. First year Calvin Dretske (Winona, Minn./Winona) turned in two second-place finishes in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:07.52) and 200 yard breaststroke (2:31.92). Sophomore Sam Gleason (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) also took second in the 100 yard freestyle in 52.85.

The Scots take on Hamline University in a dual on Jan. 23.
