HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Macalester lost just seven games in 10 singles sets en route to a 9-0 win over Farleigh Dickinson-Florham at Hilton Head High School.

The teams of Brian Utz and Carl Bermann, at one doubles, and Josh Doyle and Wilson Merrell, at two doubles, were both 8-3 winners while Aidan Tirpack and Sam Naden won by default at three doubles.

Utz was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at one singles while Doyle, at two singles, was a 6-1, 6-0 winner.

Tirpack swept his three singles match, 6-0, 6-0, while Merrell won 6-0, 6-1 at four singles and Naden won 6-1, 6-1 at five singles. Perry Campbell won by default at six singles.

The Scots return to action, Wednesday, with an 8 a.m. EDT match versus Messiah back at Hilton Head High School.
