ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College softball team will begin action at the 2015 National Training Center Spring Games on March 15 in Clermont, Fla. The Scots enter Spring Break competition with a 4-0 record after earning doubleheader victories over Minnesota-Morris and the University of Northwestern (MN).
Macalester will open their spring trip with a 5 p.m. EDT game versus William Paterson University (Ill.) followed by a 7 p.m. match-up with St. Lawrence University (Ill.) on March 15.

Looking BackMacalester's most recent contest came against the University of Northwestern on March 4. The Scots were able to keep their undefeated streak alive, advancing to 4-0 on the season after holding the Eagles to just two runs in each game and chalking up four homeruns in the series, which they won 5-2 and 3-2.
Upperclassmen PowerSenior pitcher/outfielder
Miranda Stokes is off to an impressive start this season, having already racked up eight hits in four games. Stokes has punched in three homeruns, seven RBI's and is leading the team with a .571 batting average.
Junior outfielder
Abby Cox follows Stokes, batting .538 on the season with seven hits.
Hali Englert and
Saraswati Wilson are both batting above .400
