The Macalester baseball doubleheader against Hamline University that had been rescheduled for Thursday, May 1 has been posponed again due to inclement weather. The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) contests will now take place at Nicholson Field on Sunday, May 4 with the first game slated for 12 p.m. 

The games versus the Pipers were originally scheduled for Wednesday were postponed due to extended rainfall throught the week. The Scots also postponed a doubleheader against the University of Northwestern-St. Paul on Tuesday. No makeup date has yet been announced for that contest

The Scots head into the game coming off of a split last weekend at Nicholson Field against Augsburg. The Pipers will come off two heartbreaking one-run losses against St. John's in Collegeville last Saturday. The Pipers lead Macalester by three games in the MIAC standings.
