ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College men's swimming and diving team welcomed Hamline University to its home venue at the Riley Pool for the second straight weekend. This time, the Scots matched-up solely against the Pipers in team dual competition. Hamline came away with the win on the day, defeating Macalester 164-63 in final team scores.

Meet Highlights: - Sophomore Luke Bower achieved his personal goal time in the 200-yard freestyle with a 1:59.21 finish and placed 2nd.
- Sam Gleason dropped .46 from his season-best time in the 5- yard freestyle to swim a 23.78 and place 2nd in the event.
- First year Matteo Tormene had his 1650 debut today. Tormene also swam a season-best time in the 500-yard freestyle (6:02.02).
- Ben Kromash placed 2nd in the 100-fly with a season-best time of 57.78.
- In the 100-yard freestyle, Macalester grabbed each of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place finishes.
- The 200-yard freestyle relay consisting of: first year Max Edmonds, sophomore Luke Bower, first year Sam Gleason and sophomore David Munkvold took the title with a time of 1:32.79. Three of the four men were under 23.00 in their legs of the relay.
The Scots will return to action on Dec. 5-6 as they compete in the Jean Freeman Invite at the University of Minnesota.
