"I'm disappointed in our performance this evening," said Macalester head coach Gregg Olson. "We needed to respond tonight after our performance or lack thereof against Augsburg. For some reason we just couldn't get our game going. When you play at home you need to earn points. You need to be better than we were tonight to win games in the MIAC. We must regroup and find our game before Saturday's game another conference opponent.
"This stretch of the season we need our seniors to step up and play better for us. This is when you rely on leadership and experience. Our team has been resilient all season. I know we will bounce back."
The Scots return to MIAC action Saturday (Oct. 5) at Bethel.
