Macalester pounded out 24 hits, including five home runs, two sweep host-St. Catherine 12-5 and 8-4 and even its MIAC record at 3-3.  Katie Fuller (So., Boulder, Colo.) and Miranda Stokes (Fy., Perry, Utah / Box Elder) homered in both games to lead the attack as the Scots go to 14-8 on the season.

The Scots led 5-0 after two innings in the opening game.  St. Kate's scored four times in the fifth to get to within two runs at 6-4 before Macalester came up with six in the top of the seventh.  Fuller and Stokes hit home runs and four starters had a couple hits each.

Stokes drove in four runs on a homer and double in the nightcap and Fuller also homered for the second game in a row.  Hali Englert (Fy., Castle Rock, Colo. / Castle View) had two hits and two runs scored for the second straight game.

Cleo Nagy (So., Eugene, Ore. / Henry D. Sheldon) belted her eighth home run of the season in game two and has now hit safely in 21 of Mac's 22 games.  Anna Munson (Fy., La Crosse, Wis. / Central) was 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

The Scots will try to keep their momentum going when they host Augsburg for another MIAC twinbill Thursday (April 5) at 4:30 p.m.
