Macalester vs. Wisconsin-Eau Claire statistics

Macalester's three-match winning streak was snapped in the team's final non-conference contest of the season as the visiting Scots fell at Wisconsin-Eau Claire 3-0.  The Blugolds, a traditional regional power, out-shot their guests 20-5 and enjoyed a 10-0 margin in shots on goal.  Both teams are now 7-3-1 on the season.

UW-Eau Claire scored goals in the 35th and 37th minutes to go up 2-0 at halftime, and then netted their third tally in the first minute of the second half.

Macalester's next four matches are MIAC road events, starting Wednesday (Oct. 5) at St. Catherine.
