Bouncing back from a defeat to Loras (Ia.), the Scots toppled Nebraska Wesleyan 1-0 at Macalester Stadium, and are now 2-1 on the season. The win completed a men's / women's doubleheader sweep over NWU.

Emily Bardwell (Sr., Denver, Colo. / East) in the 28th minute and
Rosie Glenn-Finer recorded two saves, including a key one in the final minutes, to post her second shutout in three starts. She has five shutouts now in eight career starts. Wasend's goal was her second career score at Macalester.

The Scots play Sunday (Sept. 12) at Wisconsin-River Falls and open MIAC play next Wednesday (Sept. 15) at home against defending champion Concordia-Moorhead. The Cobbers are picked to win the MIAC.
