Macalester vs. Bethany Lutheran box score

Louis Mondale (So., St. Louis Park, Minn. / Benilde-St. Margaret) kept the opposition off the scoreboard for five innings, and yielded just one earned run through 6 2/3 innings of work, and Macalester went on to gain a 9-4 victory over Bethany Lutheran at Nicholson Field. The Scots improve to 15-11-1 on the season, while the Vikings drop to 19-7.

Five Scots had multiple-hit games, including Nate Wilson-Traisman (Sr., Eugene, Ore. / South Eugene), who was 3-for-3  with his fourth home run of the season.The two-time All-MIAC shortstop is now batting .369 and his slugging percentage goes up to .619.

Michael Kennedy (Sr., Chicago, Ill. / Northside Prep), Garrett Salzman (So., Glendale, Calif. / St. Francis), Robert Williams (So., West Covina, Calif. / Northview) and Graham Brown (So., Annandale, Minn.) collected two hits apiece, while Salzman, Brown and Wilson-Traisman each drove in a pair of runs.

The Scots return to MIAC play tomorrow (April 21) when they travel to St. Peter for a twinbill at Gustavus Adolphus.
