Why did you choose Macalester?
I was immediately attracted to Macalester for its excellent reputation involving the International Studies major, and the more I looked into it the more redeemable qualities I came across. The tight knit community of students and professors was extremely comforting, and their athletic program was especially impressive.

What other activities are you involved in at Macalester and in the community?
I'm a co-chair of Queer Union and frequently do volunteer activities in the community involving gay rights.

Do you have any unique talents, did you have a interesting internship this summer, have you invented something interesting?
This summer I had two internships with peace organizations, one with Rasur Foundation International and the other with Push4Peace. They're both very prominent figures in modern peacebuilding, and I was lucky enough to be able to work directly with some of my idols and legends in the field.
