Career Night is April 14
SAAC is hosting the annual Macalester Career Night on Thursday, April 14, in the Leonard Center Hall of Fame room from 6 – 8 p.m. This is an informal chance for Macalester student-athletes to mingle and talk with local alumni in a variety of occupations. John Mountain from the Career Development Center will be there reading over and collecting resumes, so be sure to bring your resume. Food will be provided! Feel free to talk to them about graduate school, jobs, their experiences at Mac, etc. They enjoy sharing about their time here and hearing about your life at Macalester.
Godwin & DIII SAAC adapt Special Olympics for citizenship effort
The NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is initiating a partnership with Special Olympics in a coordinated community-outreach effort that incorporates the hundreds of SAACs at Division III schools and conference offices with the Special Olympics Programs that exist in each state. Former Macalester volleyball player Marie Godwin '10 is chair is the Division III SAAC and is spearheading the effort, which was announced Jan. 15 during the Division III business session at the NCAA Convention.

Dig Pink Night. Volleyball spectators are encouraged to wear pink and bring a few extra dollars to donate in our "pink" box.

Godwin selected Chair of the NCAA Division III SAAC
Former Macalester SAAC chair Marie Godwin '10 has been selected as Chair of the NCAA Division III SAAC. As Chair, Godwin will not only preside at National SAAC meetings but also will serve as the committee spokesperson to the media and represent the committee at various NCAA and outside group functions.
