KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Macalester College first year
Ainsley Kashatus (Washington, D.C./Holton Arms School) competed at the NCAA Diving Regionals, held Friday and Saturday at the Kalamazoo College Natatorium.
After finishing 21st on the 1-meter board on Friday with a score of 354.90, Kashatus placed fifth on the 3-meter board on Saturday, posting a score of 426.00. Last weekend she took third on the 3-meter board at the MIAC Championships with a score of 430.25 to earn All-MIAC honors.
Kashatus most likely will be selected to compete in the NCAA Division III Diving Championships in Indianapolis, Ind. on Mar. 18-21. Qualifiers will officially be announced next week.
